Wait for iiiiiit…

Twas the night before departing and everything is finally calm. All my packing is done and the lists triple checked. It seems like I have been waiting for a long time to finally be done with preparations for my trip and now the time is only going faster which makes my anxiety that much higher.

The last twenty-four hours were a little bit hectic and very frustrating. Packed yesterday and found out that my bag was too heavy and had to repack this morning with an extra check on bag. Luckily everything has worked out and now all I have to do is count down the hours before I leave for the airport.

Preamble

This blog is for one of my study abroad classes and will mainly contain posts concerning libraries and archives. However I will try to include more personal observations outside the realm of academics. I will spend most of my time during my month abroad in London. While in London the class visits places like the St. Paul’s Cathedral Library, British Library, British Museum, Greenwich Maritime Museum Library, and many others. I do get to leave the city on two separate occasions. On one of the first weekends I get to spend a few days in Paris. Later on in the month I will go with my class to Edinburgh and visit other libraries including the National Archives of Scotland.

Well there is a little introduction to what I will be doing during my study abroad.
